First Steps Playgroup, Reimagined

by TCSS Ltd

After an unexpected hiatus, caused by the abrupt closure of the Tullycarnet Primary School by the Education Authority for needed repairs, TCSS can announce the opening of the First Steps Playgroup again.

At First Steps Playgroup, each child is a unique individual.

TCSS would like to thank the Grace Baptist Church in Tullycarnet for housing the Playgroup, which is a much needed service of the entire community in the Tullycarnet area.

We would also like to thank Stay Clean NI and Cyndarian Solutions for their generous donations which allowed us to cover much of the setup costs and provide new equipment for our playgroup.

Residents of Tullycarnet flats told of demolishion

from MSN.com

Tullycarnet residents face demolishion of their homes.

After being told their homes were going to be refurbished, then left living for years in what would be considered "slum-lord conditions" by many, the residents of the King Road flats in Tullycarnet have finally learned the fate of their homes - demolition.

With the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) unable to get a contractor to carry out the much needed work, the NIHE board has now decided that the flats are to be demolished in the coming years.
